THE MANDATE
As Taiwan weighed new content rules, a major media platform found its global credentials failing to gain traction in a polarized and emotionally charged debate. We were tasked with moving the client from a defensive stance to a forward-looking discussion around industry partnership.
THE DESIGN
We identified that the core tension laid in a proposed regulatory solution attempting to address unrelated problems. Instead of engaging the conflict head-on, we found safe spaces to position the client as a vital contributor to Taiwan’s creative ecosystem, buying time and shifting the focus toward long-term innovation and investment.
By asking the right questions and avoiding the wrong ones, we guided our client towards the center of a contentious policy conversation—only to help them move away from it safely.
